Kenyan quartet girls, the Moipei's, won the prestigious Julie Wilson award in the United States of America.
The show host, KT Sullivan, on Friday, November 4, issued the award to the trio who was present at the event, Mary, Maggie and Marta Moipei.
In the subsequent certificate issued, the group was recognised for its jubilant conquest of diverse stages and cultures.
"Moipeis are known for their impact on the entertainment industry and the scope and depth of their many awards and honours," Sullivan read.
On November 4, 2022, Theatre Life Magazine described Moipei girls' recognition as stunningly promising and inspiring.
“They are the answer to the McGuire Sisters and they made their debut at last years Cabaret Convention,” wrote Theatre Life Magazine.
The Moipei girls made the country proud when they strode to the stage in style and dedicated their win to all Kenyan women.
Their win came months after earning their entry to the prestigious New York Broadway Theatre District.
The Kenyan girls moved to New York to fully concentrate on their musical career, where they will be performing at the 41 Broadway professional theatres located in the Theatre District and the Lincoln Centre in New York.
Badlands Jazz Theatre and the Lincoln Centre are among the auditoria the artists performed the cabaret style of music at.
The Moipeis are preparing for a month-long tour in Indiana, where they will perform the fastest-growing genres and types of performances – especially live events in the US.
They also intend to professionalise diverse genres of classical, African, country and many other styles.
