The Ministry of Education announced 200 scholarship opportunities for eligible Kenyans to study abroad in Hungary.
In a statement posted on its official website on Friday, November 11, the ministry announced that the scholarship was funded by the government of Hungary.
According to the ministry, the scholarships target undergraduates, masters, doctoral and one-tier master’s degree students.
For undergraduates, the scholarship is available for the following study fields; Agricultural Science, Computer Science and Information Technology, Legal Science, Economic Science, Engineering Science, Medical and Health Science and Natural Science.
Masters will be considered for Agricultural Science, Computer Science and Information Technology, Legal Science, Economic Science, Engineering Science, Medical and Health Science and Natural Science.
Doctoral studies are open for any field interest, while the one-tier master’s programme is open for students who want to pursue a medical-related course.

If your application succeeds, the scholarship will cover; tuition fees and accommodation contributions for those who reside in hostels.
The university will also offer medical insurance and a monthly stipend.
To qualify for the undergraduate program, you must have scored at least a B in KCSE and have completed university in the last three years. You must also not be older than 25 years old.
For postgraduate studies, you must have Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree upper second-class honours level. For a doctoral degree, you must have a relevant master’s degree.
The deadline for submission of online application to the Tempus Public Foundation is 16th January 2023 (2 pm Central European Time).
