Twiga Tours has been named the leading Safari Company in the world, signalling the new heights that Kenya's tourism sector has scaled.
During the World Travel Awards held in Muscat, Oman on Saturday night, November 12, the company was ranked as the best amongst other firms based across the globe.
Speaking to the press, Twiga Tours' Chief Executive, Minaz Manji expressed delight in clinching the award, noting that it rubber-stamped the years of hard work and dedication embodied by the staff.
He added that the company would continue with their mantra and provide the highest level of personal service.
“This is a great achievement for the company and the entire team. Winning this award on a global level is a testament to what our company stands for quality and unique experiences. We take this opportunity to thank our amazing guests and partners across the globe for their confidence in us."

His words were echoed by World Travel Awards founder Graham Cooke who lauded the winners for raising the bar in the Tourism sector on a global scale.

This year marked the Award's 20th ceremony as it sought to name the finest travel and tourism organisations globally.
During the Award ceremony, Kenya was named the world's leading Safari destination.
Other winners comprised the Maldives which scooped ‘World’s Leading Destination’ while Jamaica clinched three honours; World’s Leading Cruise Destination’, World’s Leading Family Destination’ and ‘World’s Leading Wedding Destination.
Silvan Safari, South Africa was named the World's Leading Luxury lodge while Thanda Island, Tanzania was honoured as the World's leading exclusive private island.
