Azimio party leader Raila Odinga on Sunday, December 4, promised to unravel how he was rigged out of the August 9 General Election.
Speaking in Nairobi's Utawala area, within Embakasi East Constituency, Odinga disclosed that his party had done an independent inquiry and vowed to expose the masterminds behind the well-crafted plan.
He reckoned that the number of votes allegedly stolen would have made a difference in the final outcome of the poll.
"We have unravelled how, where and how many of our votes were stolen and who helped them do it. We shall reveal all that shortly," Raila declared.
The former Prime Minister accused President William Ruto of being selective in the suspension of the four Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioners.
He argued that Chairman Wafula Chebukati, alongside Vice Chair Juliana Cherera, Justus Nyang'aya, Irene Masit and Francis Wanderi, also had a case to answer citing the Supreme Court ruling.
"Even the court ruled that Chebukati committed an offence yet he is a free man yet the Cherera Four are being vilified and being forced out of office," Raila petitioned.
Meanwhile, he confirmed that the first pro-Cherera Four rally will proceed as planned on Wednesday, December 7.
On December 4, Ruto instructed Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki to deploy officers to provide security for the Azimio brigade during the rallies.
However, an equal number of officers would be deployed to protect businesses and properties of Kenyans, warning against looting and vandalism.
Cherera, Masit, Nyang'aya and Wanderi were suspended by the president on December 2 following recommendations by the National Assembly Justice and Legal Affairs Committee.
Amid the fracas, Nyang'aya handed in his resignation letter to the commission.
