4-year-old Stranded in Tsavo

On December 5, 2022, reports broke of a four-year-old who was rescued from the Tsavo National Park, after spending six days in the wilderness.

Roan Carr-Hartley, a pilot from Sheldrick Wildlife Trust who spotted the boy from his chopper, termed the entire incident a miracle.

The pilot detailed how it was amazing that the child survived the wilderness packed with wild animals and harsh weather.

Hartley noted that he received a tip off from villagers who had discovered footprints in the bushes. He began a search party around the park and discovered a tiny boy covered in mosquito bites and scratches.
