Jubilee Party has relocated its headquarters from Pangani to Nairobi's upmarket Kileleshwa estate.

According to a notice dated Wednesday, February 1, by the party Secretary General,Jeremiah Kioni, the new headquarters would be housed in a building off Mandera Road.

Kioni indicated that the move was part of their plan of revamping the party and raising new leaders for the future.

"The Jubilee Party Headquarters has been relocated to a new address within the Kileleshwa area, off Mandera Road.

"Our focus will be on strengthening our county, constituency and ward offices and recruiting more members as we mould and nurture the next generation of Jubilee Leaders," read the statement in part.

However, former President Uhuru Kenyatta's party did not indicate the exact building that will house its head office.

The announcement of the party came months after the building was put up for auction.

In an advert on August 29, 2022, Garam Investments Auctioneers announced that they had put up the seven-storey building along Thika Road on auction with interested bidders required to make a deposit of Ksh5 million.

"All that parcel of land known as LR no 209/1530 Emani Business Centre along Thika Road, Pangani area registered under Farmer Industry Limited, with a plinth area of 34,000 square feet," read the notice in part.

Additionally, the move came after the party rebranded ahead of the 2022 general election.

The rebranding involved changes in party colours and logo. In the changes, the party did away with the yellow colour as they maintained the red colour.

A dove replaced the logo of two men holding hands.

In February 2022, the outfit unveiled a new lineup of officials, with Uhuru as the party leader while Kioni as SG, deputised by Joshua Kutuny.
