13-year-old Nigerian activist Musa Sani got his dream fulfilled at the 2022 Leadership Conference and Awards in Abuja on Tuesday, January 31, after he got a chance to interact with Azimio party leader Raila Odinga.
Reports indicated that the 13-year-old got a standing ovation from the crowd after bagging the 2022 leadership outstanding young person of the year.
The young boy also got an opportunity to engage the former prime minister during a photo session alongside Nigerian vice president Yemi Osinbajo.
The event, which was the 14th edition of the Leadership Conference, was headlined by Raila who delivered a keynote address calling for integrity in matters pertaining to people exercising their constitutional rights to vote.
The ODM party leader urged the African continent to reconsider using technology in elections owing to its potential to be manipulated.
"African countries must rethink the use of technology in elections. Some people have taken advantage of technology to subvert the will of the people," Raila stated.
The former prime minister noted that the integrity of elections affects the business operations of a country in general.
"Investors look at the credibility of elections before they think of investing in a country. Free and Fair election is an indicator to investors that there is a government that is in place legitimately," he pointed out.

Sani is renowned for his vision of the environment as he is lauded for his ingenuity and craftiness in innovations.
In 2022, he was highlighted by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) for constructing his own prototype roundabout using a mixture of cement, clay and stones.
The model clay bridge became the centre of attention with politicians and influential persons visiting his home to see the artwork which also trended on social media.
The 13-year-old hopes to go to university to study architecture or civil engineering.
