Nairobi County has announced another 441 jobs across various departments in a bid to bolster its skillset within the county government.
In an advertisement on the county's official website dated Monday, March 13, City Hall announced permanent and pensionable jobs ranging from Chief Environment Officer (12), environment officer (85) and clerical officer (37).
Also advertised include jobs offered on a contract basis including senior support staff (300), county ward development Fund management committee members (3) and Chief Executive Officer (4).
Successful candidates will pocket a monthly salary ranging from Ksh38,270 to Ksh197,800 depending on the job scale and will also enjoy house, commuter and leave allowances.
For instance, those seeking to serve as chief environment officers will earn between Ksh49,000 and Ksh65,120 with a house allowance of Ksh28,000 as well as a Ksh8,000 commuter allowance.
Part of the job requirements include a bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning and Management, Environmental Science Studies, or any other related degree course.
The environment officer will be eligible for a payment of between Ksh38,270 and Ksh51,170 while clerical officers will pocket between Ksh25,470 and Ksh33,950.
Senior support staff will earn a monthly salary of Ksh14,610 and Ksh16,250 with a house allowance of Ksh4,125 and a Ksh3,000 commuter allowance.
On a contractual basis, CEOs will earn a monthly salary of Ksh133,870 and Ksh197,800 with a Ksh60,000 house allowance and Ksh20,000 commuter allowance.
