Jeremy Damaris of Kikuyu Diaspora TV and other well-wishers surprised a lady living in a mud house with a new home in Kuresoi, Nakuru County.
On Thursday, May 4, the well-wishers presented the two-bedroom mabati house to the family after nearly seven days of construction.
Earlier, the first-born son of the lady had pleaded with Kenyans to help him build a home for his mother.
According to Jeremy, the house construction cost approximately Ksh500,000.
Initially, well-wishers sent Ksh100,000 to help the young man with a speech impediment.
"I have done the budget and it will roughly cost Ksh400,000 kindly help us. I have already received Ksh100,000 for well-wishers. It will be a simple house to put a smile on the family," Jeremy stated.
Outside, the house is decorated in bright blue mabati, a grey metal door, and blue roofing. Furthermore, the house had cement concrete flooring to give it a modern look.
Overwhelmed with emotions, the firstborn son burst into tears, appreciating the well-wishers for upgrading his mother's life.
"May God bless you for the good work you have done for my mother," he stated.
Despite the heavy rainfall across the country, the workers were at the site to ensure the house was completed promptly.
Jeremy's kind gesture was lauded by fans and followers, urging him to forge on with helping the needy.
"May God bless you and expand your boundaries. Sharing and helping is caring," one follower stated.
