The Kenya Coordinating Mechanisms on Tuesday, May 16, called for bids from prospective institutions to apply as Principal Recipients (PR) to manage Global Fund Grants for HIV/AIDs, Malaria, and Building Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health (RSSH).

According to the statement, the invitation is for non-state Principal Recipients, and the amount for each will be informed by the Grant Cycle 7 (GC7) Funding Request Proposal.

According to KCM, Kenya is eligible for additional catalytic matching funds totalling Ksh2 billion ($15 million).

How to Bid

The submissions can be made both hard and soft copies.

Interested candidates were urged to obtain tender documents from the Kenya Coordinating Mechanism website www.globalfundkcm.or.ke.

All completed sets of hard and soft copy tender documents are to be submitted in hard copies and enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked with the tender reference number, and the tender item description and addressed to the Chairperson of Kenya Coordinating Mechanism Ministry of Health.

The soft copies should be sent to pr_rfp@globalfundkcm.or.ke and copied to prrfpgfkcm@gmail.com.

Furthermore, all interested bidders must register through the email address info@globalfundkcm.or.ke.

Meanwhile, all hard copies should be deposited in the tender box in the Ministry of Health Headquarters, Afya House.

However, the applicants can express interest in one or a maximum of two disease areas.
