Langata MP Phelix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o on Thursday revealed that he intends to appeal if the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Disciplinary Committee expels him from the party.

Speaking during a radio interview, the Langata MP opened up on the difficulties he has experienced in the party following his decision to align himself politically with President William Ruto.

The MP, who has become a pariah in his party for his political choices, insisted that he will not leave the party that sponsored him to parliament.

"I have never had any serious differences with Baba (Raila), I love Baba so much, a political member, father figure and everything. I have never wronged him and I have never left ODM party and I never will," Jalang'o said.

"We will appeal, even if the case goes all the way to the Supreme Court," Jalang'o insisted.

He further stated that his relationship with Raila has never wavered and that he has always kept tabs on the Azimio leader.

The former entertainer remained adamant that he will continue working with President William Ruto, claiming that he was being unfairly vilified since other ODM members have been working with the Head of State and have not faced the same level of scrutiny as him.

The first-time MP, attributed his dalliance with the President to his desire to ensure that he delivers development to his constituents in Lang'ata and in the wider context, Nyanza.

During the interview, the MP revealed that he had personally called Raila, before hosting President Ruto in Lang'ata to launch Affordable Housing Development projects. The MP, therefore, wondered why the decision had culminated in him being isolated.

Jalango is part of a section of ODM rebel politicians who have come under attack from ODM loyalists for going against the grain and defying Raila.

The party has already instituted disciplinary action against the politicians.

As part of his demands in the bipartisan talks with Kenya, Kwanza, Raila has demanded that the rebel politicians resign and seek a fresh mandate from the electorate.
