Suspected thugs attacked and robbed two Israeli women vacationing in Watamu on Saturday before fleeing.
The robbery was first reported by Israeli publications and it's not clear whether they filed a police report.
During the robbery, one of the tourists injured her finger. The attack happened in Watamu, Kilifi County.
According to the reports, the women were attacked while heading back to their hotel in the tourist town of Watamu.
The women were rushed to a local hospital for treatment, according to the reports.
The families of the victims have been in contact with the Israeli embassy.

In June, a group of young men with boda bodas were spotted snatching a foreigners bag in broad daylight along Ngong Road.
The CCTV footage captured the incident when the women were casually walking on the road when the gang attacked.
The suspects were reportedly arrested on June 14. The robberies have also targeted Kenyans, as thugs become daring.
"These culprits have been nabbed by the DCI who will give further details of their action. We are grateful for the continued partnership in securing our county,” Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja stated.
