Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi gifted a brand-new car to an Assistant Chief who impressed him with his service delivery.
John Macharia, the Kapseret MP's photographer, confirmed that Sudi, on Saturday, handed over the Toyota Probox to Mumberes Assistant Chief, Nicholas Rotich, in celebration of his acts of kindness.
"The Assistant Chief was happy and promised to continue helping the community. He couldn't believe it.
"He now owns a car," the Photographer told Kenyans.co.ke, adding that Rotich's wife busted into celebration while heaping praise on the MP.
According to Macharia, the Assistant Chief was recognised and awarded for his humanitarian acts along the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway, especially in facilitating medical needs for victims of road carnages.
"There was an incident at Mumberes last month where he helped the victims despite the fact that he didn't have a vehicle to facilitate transportation of the victims to the local hospital.
"The Assistant Chief also ensured that the documents of the victims remained intact," Macharia stated.
Sudi, known for his charisma and strong connection with the local population, also assured the Assistant Chief that his acts of kindness would continue to yield even greater rewards in the future.
"Continue with the good heart of serving people," Sudi was quoted to have appreciated the Assistant Chief.
The Kapseret Member of Parliament was accompanied by Mogotio MP Kiborek Reuben, who also thanked the Assistant Chief for the humanitarian acts.
