Chief Justice Martha Koome has made changes in the Judiciary after transferring 29 Court of Appeal Judges from various stations across the country.

In a letter, the Chief Justice wrote to the President of the Court of Appeal Daniel Musinga advising him to implement the changes as agreed in their consultation.

Chief Justice Koome explained that the changes will take effect from Friday, September 15, when the 29 Justices are expected to report to their new workstations.

"Following consultations with the Judge President of the Court and in order to enhance service delivery at the Court of Appeal, it has become necessary to re-organise the Court as per the schedule of benches below," Koome noted.
