Inooro TV presenter Hellen Muthoni has quit after seven years.
The presenter who doubles up as a gospel artist and fashion designer hosted her last show on Sunday alongside her co-host; DJ Covenant.
For the 7 years she has been at the station, Muthoni has hosted Rurumuka, a gospel music show that has attracted a loyal audience from Kikuyu-speaking viewers across the country.
"Good morning, I am much delighted to be hosting Rurumuka for the very last time," she stated.
During her last live show, Muthoni was handed gifts by her colleagues who also praised her for working diligently during her 7-year stint at the station.
DJ Covenant described Muthoni as a wonderful host and friend who helped boost the show's profile since she joined in 2016.
Her fellow gospel artist Edith Wairimu also surprised Muthoni with a heartwarming performance.
"God had a plan for you when you came here and you have done your job. Just because you have left Inooro TV, that does not mean God is not looking over you" she stated.
Her exit came as a shock to her fans who expressed their gratitude to the host for blessing their Sunday mornings for 7 years.
Muthoni was described as an anointed woman chosen by God to spread his word through Inooro TV.
The vernacular media house has in the recent past parted ways with popular media personalities who have gone on to pursue different ventures.
This comes at a time when media houses in the country are facing financial constraints that have contributed to talent hemorrhage.
