Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi on Saturday joined other politicians at Mosop Member of Parliament Abraham Kirwa's wedding.
The wedding was held in Nandi North as the MP allied to the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) tied the knot with his fiancé Fresiah Kirwa.
"The big day has come and gone. "I do" was said. Roses and colors of love reigned. Gifted with the jewel of my heart, a friend. The mother of my two beautiful kids, Fresiah Kirwa," he wrote.
President William Ruto's brother David Samoei and his wife Carol Kitur were the best couple mentoring the newlyweds as they took the next step in life.
Other politicians at the wedding were Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi, Nandi Governor Stephen Sang, Nandi Women Representative Cynthia Muge, and Aldai MP Marianne Kitany among others.
The nuptial was held at a local church where the couple exchanged vows before proceeding to the reception to continue with the celebrations. Friends and family had gathered in numbers to witness the joyous occasion.
The venue was decorated with colourful flowers with purple and pink taking centre stage. The groom donned a purple and pink flower lapel to match the wedding's theme.
On the other hand, the bride was clad in a beautiful white gown paired with a tiara, a flowing veil, and a purple and pink flower bouquet.
At the reception, the newlyweds donned traditional attire made of cowhides. The bride also wore a beaded headband and carried flasks.
Guests enjoyed watching traditional dancers dressed in cultural attire, their faces and bodies adorned with drawings and paint, showcasing their heritage.
The newlyweds, along with Samoei and his wife, took turns dancing, as the crowd cheered them on.
The wedding happened a few days after Samoei and Kitur tied the knot in a colorful ceremony at the Fairmont Mt Kenya Safari Club in Nanyuki.
Dignitaries and politicians, including President Ruto and First Lady Rachel, attended the event.
