Abduba Dida Claims NASA Was His Idea, Accuses Opposition Leaders of Stealing It

Former Presidential Candidate Mohammed Abduba Dida has sensationally claimed that Opposition leaders led by Raila Odinga have been using his winning formula as they campaign to unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Dida revealed that he was the brain behind the popular National Alliance Super Alliance (NASA) - a political force that has brought together leading Opposition leaders.

While the idea has previously been associated with Musalia Mudavadi, Dida explained that he formulated the idea and later contacted Mudavadi for implementation.

The humorous teacher-turned-politician further narrated that Mudavadi ran away with his idea after they held meetings where Dida explained how the idea would work.

"By the way, many Kenyans associate NASA with Mudavadi but it is my brainchild. I suggested NASA to Mudavadi but the subsequent meetings that were to follow alihepa nayo (he stole it) that is how Kenyans are very cunning," Dida revealed.

Mudavadi would later take the idea to the CORD leader who has also expressed support for the formula as he seeks to unseat President Kenyatta in this year’s General Election.

Despite the loss, Dida stated that he was firmly in the presidential race, adding that he would defeat both Jubilee and NASA in the August 8 polls.

He explained that he was running under the Tunza coalition.

"Currently we formed a coalition with like-minded friends and we called the coalition TUNZA which involves Alliance for Real Change (ARC), the Roots Party of Kenya (RPK), and many other interested parties,” the former teacher explained.
