Brother to KTN News Anchor Betty Kyallo on Tuesday took to his Facebook account to shed light on the much talked about separation of Betty and her husband Dennis Okari.
Brian Kyallo stated that his sister was unhappy in the family she was married, alluding to the root cause of the break up between the newsroom lovebirds.
The post read in part: “Women go through so much pain and society ignores this. Pain may come from an unappreciative family in law, dishonest partner and spousal abuse”.
Mr Kyallo explained that he was prompted to speak on her sisters marriage following constant messages he was receiving from people inquiring about the divorce rumours.
He expressed solidarity with his sister saying he would support her and even be there for her daughter in any situation. He urged people to respect the enstranged couple and give them time to heal.
This came a few hours after their sister Mercy Kyallo through her Instagram account, revealed that Betty had been going through a hard time due to what she termed as 'deep family issues' dividing them.
"Over the last couple of months my sister Betty has gone through her share of struggle, tears and sadness. A lot is being said and there is a lot of speculation. Fact is that there were deep family issues that divided us. Betty, our family is supporting you 100% and our prayer is that you find true happiness and fulfilment." Mercy posted on her instagram.
Betty and Dennis, who have a two-year old daughter, got married last year in October in high profile wedding after dating for six years.

Rumours of their split had been circulating online for a while and were seemingly confirmed when Betty dropped Okari's name from her social media accounts, and even deleted wedding photos.
