Former US president Bill Clinton will be visiting the country on Thursday accompanied by his daughter, Chelsea Clinton.
One of the purpose for the visit is to check on projects funded by the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative.
The visit comes ahead of Barrack Obama's visit in July. Preparations continue to be made in anticipation of Obama's visit into the country which is his first as president. Part of the president's motorcade has already arrived into the country.
Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed visited the US embassy on Wednesday for a briefing on the preparations for the visit.
US Secretary of State John Kerry is expected in the country next week Monday, also in preparation for Obama' visit.
