An assistant chief from Mukureini, Nyeri county has been accused of having abducted and impregnated a form three student.
The 45-year-old administrator is said to have had an affair with the said 15-year-old girl, a student at one of the local schools.
He allegedly had been living with the girl since Wednesday last week until the news of the girl's pregnancy became public knowledge and the two fled.
The assistant chief was, however, arrested by the police.
The girl has since gone missing.
OCPD Beatrice Kimoning confirmed the incident to The Standard and assured that the police are waiting for P3 statements from medics so that the suspect can be arraigned in court.
The suspect is said to have made quite a name for himself due to rampant paedophilic behavior despite having three wives.
The father of six, however, lives alone, having allegedly kicked his wife and kids out.
Area Ward Rep Njoroge Githaiga complained that despite having being warned severally against having affairs with minors, the administrator had kept his habit and boasted that he was wealthy enough to marry anyone he wanted.
He remains in police custody as efforts to trace the missing girl continue.
