Churchill to Get New TV Station

Daniel Ndambuki, popularly known as Churchill plans to start a television station to mark his 15 years in comedy.

The renowned comedian revealed in passing during the recording of the Churchill Show in Nakuru County dubbed “Hamo homecoming”.

Daniel Ndambuki marked his debut in the comedy industry in the late nineties and in a span of less than ten years he had become a household name.

Churchill together with Walter Mong'are (Nyambane), Maurice Otieno (Mudomo Baggy), John Kiarie (KJ) and Tony Njuguna started 'Red Kona' which was one of the first satirical comedy shows in Kenya where he had a small segment for stand up comedy.  

The biggest comedian in Kenya now co-hosts alongside Maina Kageni, as Mwalimu King'ang'i, in the most popular morning show on Classic 105.

Daniel Ndambuki's Churchill Show, a TV program that airs on NTV is said to be the most watched local program with a great diaspora appeal.

Churchill Show through host Ndambuki has helped launch careers for several other comedians.
