Citizen TV Anchor Hussein Mohammed Attacked After Interview at Raila Odinga's Karen Home

A highly-publicised interview of National Super Alliance (NASA) flag-bearer Raila Odinga on Citizen TV Thursday evening, has elicited sharp reactions on how it was covered.

According to some, the interview conducted at Raila's Karen home was a shadow of itself after anticipating that the host, Hussein Mohammed, would press the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader on his agenda after being named NASA flag-bearer.

It's safe to say Baba is a reducing agent. He just reduced Hussein to Larry Madowo for one hour. #RAOagenda

Online users pointed out that Mr Odinga himself, at one point, prodded Hussein to move on with the rest of the questions as he was making the interview boring.

A visibly irked Odinga halfway through the interview could not take it anymore after being pressed further on his commitment to the one term presidency deal that he had struck with other NASA co-principals.

"Hussein, I already said I will be Joshua. I will lead Kenyans to the promised land. You are just repeating the same thing we already talked about. Why don't you move on to the next subject? This is boring now Hussein," posed Odinga.

Hussein Mohammed Should Ask RAO questions about Governance and Policy and not silly political fitinas #RAOagenda #fb

The online chatter went on with a section of netizens sharing that the questions were not substantive on Odinga’s agenda and dwelt on the wrangles in the ODM nominations and the NASA deal.

Others, however, were of the view that the interview stood to its billing and gave the Opposition chief a unique opportunity to argue his case on his re-election bid come August 8.

I really admired what he said "I'm not the best. I'm the first among equals" #RAOagenda
