See David Rudisha in Full Police Uniform

A photo of David Rudisha, the current Olympic champion and 800 metres world record holder in full police uniform, has caused an online buzz.

Rudisha posted the image on his Facebook page to show his other side, away from the much publicised athletic life.

“Many are used to seeing me on running outfits, but this is the other look outside the track! Proud Police Officer. ‪#‎Loveyourjob‬,” Rudisha stated.

The image went viral on social media with Kenyans lauding the champion, also known as King David, for his exemplary leadership on and off the track.

The post was shared 1,288 times with 12,000 reactions by the time of going to press.

In 2010, the 28-year old became the youngest athlete to ever win the IAAF World Athlete of the Year Award.

Rudisha broke the 800 meters record at the London 2012 Olympics on 9 August 2012, posting an incredible time of 1:40.91.

Amused to see "King" David Rudisha in police regalia. Is it now policy to dress our policemen in caps that are ill-fitting?
