Details of NASA Strategy to Send Jubilee's President Uhuru Kenyatta Home

Two days ago, National Supper Alliance (NASA) leadership and the National Coordinating Committee retreated to Vipingo Ridge in Kilifi to plan for what is turning out to be an epic battle between NASA and Jubilee.

During the retreat, NASA resolved to mobilise funds amounting to billions to finance a formidable campaign to rival Jubilee Party that is believed to be well endowed financially.

To achieve this, NASA plans to bring on board wealthy and influential business people.

The coalition also resolved to conduct a research to establish the popularity of its flag bearer Raila Odinga and map out the country ahead of a rematch between Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

This comes a day before Raila is unveiled as the ODM presidential candidate in what party technocrats have termed as "unstoppable brand Raila".

Another resolution by the Opposition coalition is to scoop at least 65% of votes in what have been termed as battleground counties and make inroads into what is perceived to be Jubilee strongholds.

Kajiado and Narok are marked as battleground counties while Meru and South Rift are considered Jubilee turfs where NASA is hoping to make inroads.

Siaya Senator James Orengo also disclosed that NASA will be rolling out a series of campaign initiatives and a campaign that will be like no other. The diary for the campaign activities will be out towards the end of the week.

A confident Orengo assured NASA supporters of victory, disclosing that having analysed the numbers, there is no way Jubilee could win the August elections.

NASA will be keen not to repeat mistakes of 2013 that saw Odinga lose to Uhuru Kenyatta in what the NASA flag bearer termed a "stolen election" and contested the results at the Supreme Court.
