DP Ruto Driven by His Son Nick to Karen Church, Journalists Blocked From Covering His Speech

Deputy President William Ruto on Sunday reportedly ordered journalists to be blocked from covering him at Karen's Nairobi Pentecostal Church (NPC).

Reporters had camped at the Church waiting for Ruto to address the congregants.

However, just before the DP could make his speech, the ushers asked all the journalists to leave since Ruto wanted to have a private service.

Interestingly, the Deputy President rode to the Karen Church without the usual motorcade and had to cope with a heavy traffic jam as he was driven by his son Nick Ruto.

Congregants later disclosed that the DP requested the congregants to pray for the country ahead of the August 8 polls.

After the service, Ruto was joined by Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru and his Gatundu South counterpart Moses Kuria as they went for lunch at Club Jojen.
