Drama ensued at a teacher's funeral in Kilifi after boda-boda operators dragged her killer's body to the ceremony and burnt it as mourners ran for safety.
The operators had taken away the body of Mathias Baraka who was trailed by police and gunned down on Friday while he led a gang in a shop robbery.
Baraka was accused of shooting and killing Pauline Kazungu last week, when he raided her home and reportedly stole money.
It took the intervention of the Police who arrested the situation and later took away the remains of Baraka.
The suspect is said to have been terrorising residents, attacking them at their homes while dressed in female muslim attire (buibui).
Kilifi County Police Commander Elias Ngetich confirmed that the suspect was killed in a robbery attempt at a shop, adding that a policewoman suspected to be Baraka's accomplice had been transferred.
Early this month, another bizzare incident happened in Kilifi when a man was stoned to death after he began biting mourners, causing unprecedented chaos at the ceremony.
