Nyeri billionaire Ephraim Maina has promised to deliver half a million votes from the region to bolster President Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto's re-election bid.
The former Mathira Member of Parliament (MP), together with other leaders from the County, declared that they would traverse the entire Central region to ensure that the President and his deputy win the elections with a landslide.
“We are going to work tirelessly to campaign for President Uhuru Kenyatta and ensure he gets massive support from Nyeri,” Maina stated.
The veteran politician also urged all Jubilee nomination losers to support the winners stating that the party would only thrive if all leaders were united.
Mr Maina is seeking to be the next Nyeri Senator after he won the recently concluded Jubilee nominations in the county.
In the Nyeri primaries, five MPs, the Governor, Senator, Woman Representative and 29 Members of County Assembly lost their re-election bids.
