Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria on Monday morning attacked Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka after reports emerged that he had nominated his son Kennedy Musyoka for appointment to the East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA).
Through a Facebook post, Kuria stated that while Jubilee is out to create millions of jobs for the youth, the NASA team has a special sub-committee to reward their next of kins.
The Gatundu South legislator went ahead to accuse the five NASA Co-principals of being selfish, noting that the Opposition team was even willing to change the Constitution to increase positions of leadership in order to create jobs for their selfish gain.
"For the last 5 years, the Jubilee cabinet has never reached the upper limit of 22 allowed in the constitution because we truly believe in a lean cabinet to cut down on government expenditure. What does NASA promise Kenyans?
"When we say Punguza Mzigo Punda Amechoka, they say Ongeza Mzigo Punda Akufe. Forget about the NASA brouhaha about mabadiliko, it's all about jobs for the 5 boys," he emphasised
Kuria also indicated that while Jubilee is pushing to ensure 30% of tenders go to women, youth and persons with disabilities, NASA had given the EALA slot meant for youth, women and persons living with disability to Raila Odinga's brother Oburu Odinga.
"Oburu is currently a nominated MP representing youth, women and persons living with disability so I guess he has enough experience in that area," he emphasised
