Jemimah Wanjala Ingutia Wins 125K With Last Minute Entry During Pambazuka’s Easter Sunday Draw

A lucky Kenyan woman on Sunday won Shs 125,857 with an entry she made at the last minutes of the Pambazuka National Lottery (PNL) live show.

Jemimah Wanjala Ingutia, an employee with a local insurance company, became the latest five-number winner with the entry she made just six minutes before the start of the Sunday night show.

The elated mother of two from Langata in Nairobi was more than happy to have won especially during the Easter season and attributes her luck to her ability to take a leap of faith by participating minutes before the draw.

“I played using my husband’s phone since mine had gone off and I am glad I didn’t let my lucky moment slip by. I will share the winnings with my family and friends in the spirit of Easter,” an elated Ms Ingutia told Pambazuka National Lottery officials.

This comes after PNL recently unveiled its new SMS platform, 79649, that is aimed at ensuring its growing number of consumers can conveniently access its services from across the country.

The new digital channel allows one to play online through the revamped website or use the SMS platform and also gives PNL clients easy and convenient access to the service.

Consumers can now easily register with the SMS platform by sending the acronyms PNL to 79649.

After sending the SMS and following the subsequent instructions, the users can then go to its website portal www.pnl.co.ke where they can select their lucky numbers and purchase tickets online.
