Jubilee Party to Announce Nomination Results Through the National Elections Board (NEB)

The Jubilee Party has revealed that it will announce its results through the National Elections Board (NEB).

This was decided on after Deputy President William Ruto met with members of the party's secretariat after Jubilee nominations were cancelled last week.

In a statement, the party outlined that provisional results for Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of County Assembly (MCAs), governors, senators and woman representatives would be announced at county tallying centres before being transmitted to the Jubilee Party Headquarters.

Presiding officers would be required to guard materials overnight before returning officers distribute them to polling stations.

Aspirants would be given a chance to have one pre-approved agent per polling station to observe unpacking of material and setting up of the polling station.

Aspirants' agents would be required to sign a form to accept results provided by presiding officers before they are transferred to the constituency tallying centre.

Jubilee nominations kicked off on Monday.

Other parties have been announcing nomination results at the tallying centres in the counties.
