The part, however, field candidates for other elective posts but drum up support for the president in a region perceived to be leaning towards the Opposition.

FAP was officially launched five days ago to champion development and prosperity in North Eastern Kenya.

The president, who attended the delegates conference, welcomed the endorsement expressing his joy that different communities had agreed to work together for the sake of peace and progress.

Uhuru has been consolidating his support by warming up to smaller parties willing to work with Jubilee.

This comes a day after the president received members of the Economic Freedom Party (EFP) who also endorsed him at State House.

The president also invited the Frontier Alliance Party officials to attend the Jubilee National Delegates Conference slated for Saturday.
