The Jubilee Party has announced that it will hold its National Delegates Convention (NDC) on Saturday, May 6th at the Bomas of Kenya from 10:00 am.
The party indicated that the main agenda of the meeting would be to present its Presidential candidate to the delegates for approval.
"The main agenda of the meeting would be to nominate candidates to contest the presidential election scheduled to be held on August 8th, 2017," the statement read in part.
The meeting is set to be attended by top Jubilee officials including all 19 interim officials of the party from all counties and all sitting Jubilee Governors, Senators, Members of Parliament, Woman Representative and Members of County Assembly (MCAs).
The party also invited all members of the National Governing Council and all newly-nominated aspirants in the recently concluded Jubilee primaries.
The Jubilee's National Delegates Convention will come only a day after the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) event scheduled for Friday where the party will endorse it's party leader Raila Odinga to be ODM's Presidential candidate.
