Kenyan Celebrities Including Ruto Throng Jaguar's Foundation Launch

Popular singer and NACADA board member Charles Njagua Kanyi aka Jaguar on Wednesday evening launched his Youth Empowerment Foundation at the KICC.
In attendance was Deputy President William Ruto, who was the chief guest in a ceremony that was also graced by Nameless, Mejja, Willy.M.Tuva, Size 8, H_Art the Band and Daddy Owen 
among other artists.

Ruto commended Jaguar's efforts saying that he had done the country proud by demonstrating how Kenya is a land of tremendous opportunity and talent. He also
added that the government was working with the media stakeholders to ensure a higher percentage of media content is local.

The current regulation for the media with regards to airing of local content stands at 60 percent.

The Deputy President also tried his legs by doing the Mateke jig during Size 8's performance.

The foundation is aimed at empowering the youth and sensitizing them against alcohol and drug abuse.

Jaguar was appointed to the NACADA board in June this year by the President.
