Jaguar Threatens To Quit From NACADA

Musician and recent appointee to the National Authority for Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) board Jaguar, has said he will resign from the board if corruption charges dogging the body are not resolved.

Jaguar has given the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Interior CS Joseph Nkaiserry an ultimatum of two weeks to sort the allegations out, or he quits.

Speaking to the press today, Monday the musician said he will not stand for the corruption allegations plaguing NACADA.

The ultimatum comes barely two months after he was appointed to the board by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Jaguar, much to the surprise of many was among 302 officials named to the 79 state corporations in a gazette notice.

The eccentric musician is allegedly close to the president and has in the past said he advises the president on matters concerning the youth.

He however defended his appointment saying his understanding of the youth made him the perfect candidate for the position.
