A new American TV series, 24 Legacy, has rubbed Kenyans the wrong way after its latest episode used real footage from the Westgate terror attack.
The series broadcasted on Fox TV highlighted a section of the terrorist attack on the mall located in Westlands, Nairobi, as part of their storyline.
However, as per the series, the producer mentioned that the attack happened in Alexandria, Egypt.
Hawk-eyed Kenyans noticed the scene on the 4th episode released on Sunday night and sharply criticised Fox TV for the seemingly insensitive move.
The Westgate attack saw 67 killed and over 175 others injured.
Under the hashtag #SomeonetellFoxTV Kenyans demanded an apology from the broadcaster.
