Kenyans Share Their Frustrations on Increasing Food Prices

The rising food prices on Monday pushed Kenyans to share their frustrations on social media platforms on the hashtag #CostOfLivingKE as Labour Day celebrations were ongoing at Uhuru Park.

The rhetoric revolved around the government's failure to reduce prices of maize meal as promised during the reading of the 2017/2018 Budget.

Social media users were elated at the opportunity to share their annoyances in a discussion they deemed long overdue.

#CostOfLivingKe where did we go wrong. Its getting out of hand. Frustrated.
