The discussions centred around this cartoon which insinuated that the former Prime Minister had been paid to betray Kenya.

Former Finance Minister David Mwiraria passed away following a long battle with cancer.

Social media users condoled with the family on his demise.

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho was in a Mombasa court seeking to have police barred from arresting him in connection to any of the cases against him.

The conversation on Joho moving to court was fuelled further after an image emerged of him busy on his phone during the session.

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party primaries kicked off in Bungoma, Busia and Machakos counties.

In Busia, ODM governor hopeful Dr Paul Otuoma woke up to publications alleging that he had defected to the Jubilee party while in Bungoma County voters protested the requirement to have an ODM membership card in order to vote.
