Collins Injera's all time top scorer record was  on Friday broken at the Hong Kong 7s League by England 7s International, Dan Norton.

This topic began trending after the IEBC announced that party nominations shall be conducted between 13th and 26th April, 2017 and list of nominees submitted to IEBC by 10th May, 2017.

This was seen as a blow to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party which had vowed to begin nominations tomorrow, April 8 despite a warning by IEBC.

ODM supporters and critics jumped on to this hashtag to launch attacks at one another.

Jemima Sumgong

Jemimah Sumgong, the first Kenyan woman to win an Olympic Marathon Gold medal, was the topic of discussion after news emerged that she had failed a drug test.

Sumgong, who tested positive for EPO (Erythropoietin), now risks losing her titles as the winner of the London, Rotterdam and Las Vegas Marathons, as well as runner-up at the Boston, Chicago and New York City Marathons.
