Film Board CEO Hits Out At Larry Madowo

Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) Ezekiel Mutua has launched an attack on NTV show host and journalist Larry Madowo after skinning him alive for almost ten minutes on his popular show The Trend.

The NTV anchor delved into Mutua's personal life on the Friday night show, following pictures he posted on Facebook while on a flight's business class section alone and another one in a classy lounge-thanking God for the good things He had blessed him with.

Madowo made fun of the CEO dubbing his post as a 'Humble-brag'.

On the other hand, Mutua did not take kindly the remarks by Madowo and his panelists hence took to social media on Saturday to tell off the journalist.

The KFCB Boss accused Madowo of twisting his Facebook post to suit their talk, adding that everything he was enjoying in life did not come when he landed the job at the parastatal.

"So Larry Madowo I am not seeing these things at KFCB. I have been to White House, I have visited nearly all the major capitals of the world and I have used nearly all major airlines on business and even first class. NOW SHOULD A BOY FROM A VILLAGE IN MWALA NOT PRAISE GOD FOR ALL THIS?" Mutua wrote.

"And if praising God on fb is bragging and will get me this kind of publicity, then keep it here FOR I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL," Mutua added.

On Friday, Madowo started The Trend discussing the recent move by KFCB to remove an 'immoral' scene of the coke television advertisement, arguing that it was against family values in Kenya.

During the show, the host and his guest belittled Mutua's actions mocking that Kenyans ought to start shaking hands as kissing was immoral.
