Kipchirchir Alfie Posts Photo Holding Gun Directed to Joho

A man claiming to be a police officer has now posted a picture holding a gun which he captioned was directed to Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho.

The alleged officer who identifies himself as Kipchichir Alfie shared the image on social media sparking an array of reactions.

In December, Kipchichir came to the limelight after he posted a chilling message vowing to kill Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo and Suna-East lawmaker Junet Mohamed.

At that time, he posted the photos of a pistol and ammunition stating that three bullets were meant for Mohamed and the rest (32) for the Mbita MP.

However, Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet refuted the notion that Kipchichir was a police officer highlighting that a manhunt had been launched.

"He claims to be a police officer but he is not. We are looking for him and we urge anyone who knows him to help us know where he is," stated Boinnet.

This comes at a time when the Mombasa Governor has alleged that his life was in danger.
