Flamboyant Nairobi Lawyer Donald Kipkorir on Friday became the target of anger from Kenyans on social media for his unflattering remarks on elderly politician Dr. Richard Leakey.
Trouble started after Leakey complained that he had been kicked out of La Cascina Restaurant in Karen after he requested to be served with free tap water.
Kipkorir would later respond through his Twitter account, revealing that he was representing the high-end Karen restaurant.
In a series of tweets, the Nairobi lawyer castigated Dr. Leakey’s behaviour, describing his complaint as malicious and tantamount to social media terrorism.

The unsavoury comments did not sit well with a majority of social media users who responded with a campaign, dubbed #RacistLaCascinaPoorLawyer, to condemn Kipkorir.
