Police are looking for Makadara Member of Parliament Benson Mutura who evaded arrest after allegedly causing chaos during the recently concluded Jubilee party primaries.
The parliamentarian was accused of leading supporters to Dr Livingstone polling station in Buruburu where he reportedly interrupted the voting process on Wednesday.
The incident forced the police to fire in the air to disperse the rowdy crowd and restore calm.
The law enforcement officers believe that Mr Mutura escaped during the confusion that ensued at the polling station.
They, however, arrested Mutura's brother who is still being held as they heighten their search for the missing lawmaker.
Police boss Japheth Koome confirmed that they were looking for the MP in order to question him before deciding on the way forward regarding the matter.
