Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna has on Sunday afternoon launched a scathing attack on Nairobi Gubernatorial Aspirant Mike Sonko claiming that he wants to be Nairobi Governor to protect himself and his ill-gotten wealth.
Mr Miguna alleged that Sonko does not help the poor as he claims, but uses them to deceive the country to gain political mileage.
He stated that Sonko only cares about himself and that he lied to the country that his wealth came from God during an interview on a local television station last week.
"They are a lot of people suffering why did God give them cash? when did he meet God to transact on that business of acquiring wealth? God never gave wealth to Sonko. You cant wake up one day and say your wealth come from God. That is a fraud and a scam" he lamented.
The gubernatorial aspirant further alleged that the Senator was a drug baron who is wanted by the FBI and was not popular to beat him in the August polls.
Miguna also indicated that Sonko should not be cheated to think that he would get the same number of votes he got in 2013 general elections.
