Miguna Miguna Schools Orengo on Proper English

Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna on Friday morning attacked Siaya Senator James Orengo after a post on twitter that was grammatically incorrect.

Orengo was informing Kenyans on the CORD team selected to spearhead talks on the electoral body stalemate when he tweeted: “Cord has nominated myself and Hon. Eseli Simiyu to lead a committee to chart the way forward on IEBC in 24 hours”.

Miguna, who is an author and columnist, was quick to detect the error in Orengo's sentence and replied stating: "Correct English expression is - Cord has nominated Eseli Simiyu and I to..."

Surprisingly, Miguna went further to urge Mr Orengo who is also a renowned lawyer to spend more time reading.

A pompous Miguna has in the recent past been at the forefront bashing leaders in the country using deep English expressions.

The Canadian-based Lawyer has publicly declared his interest in Nairobi's top political seat, expressing that he was ready to take on Governor Evans Kidero and other rivals.

Here is the conversation:
