Nairobi Senator and Gubernatorial aspirant Mike Sonko has picked Vivo Energy Kenya Managing Director Polycarp Igathe as his running mate for Nairobi governorship.
This comes just days after Sonko on Sunday put up a post on Facebook asking his supporters to help him choose a running mate from a list of nine notable individuals.
In the post that had drawn over 16,000 comments and 233 shares by Tuesday 2 pm, opinion was split but most of Sonko's followers preferred Igathe and former Nairobi Town Clerk John Gakuo.
