More Students Arrested After Week of 'Sex Party'

Eight Secondary School students were apprehended on Thursday night in Lolwe Estate, Kisumu, after hiding out for a week engaging in sexual encounters and partying.

The group had five girls reportedly from Rang'ala Girls Secondary School, three boys from Kisumu Boys High School, Ngere High School and Nyamasaria Secondary School.

The students who were supposed to have reported back to school, are said to have been hiding themselves in a house during the day and went clubbing at night.

A father of one of the students said that his friend had spotted his daughter in town at night with a group of youth prompting him to look into it.

“I was worried and started investigating privately and learnt that some underage girls were being kept at a house in Lolwe estate,” he said.

Another parent is said to have gone to visit her daughter in Rangala Girls Secondary School when she was told that the student had not reported to school.

Police officers from Kondele Police Station acted on a tip off from members of the public and raided the hideout, but were unable to capture the owners of the house.

Parents whose children had been missing from schools filled the Station hoping to find them there.

This comes barely a week after 550 students were found at a club in Eldoret engaging in an alcohol fueled sex orgy and 40 others found a month ago in a bus having sex and abusing drugs.
