Moses Kuria Describes Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho as 'Garbage' During NTV Interview

Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria on Wednesday made an embarassing comment about Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho during an interview on NTV.

Mr Kuria stated that it was a big puzzle that the second biggest city in Kenya was headed by a person who scored a D- in his KCSE exams.

The Gatundu South MP further claimed that "if someone sent a garbage collector to Mombasa he might collect the governor as part of the garbage."

The outrageous remark comes days after Kuria rubbished Joho's academic qualifications stating that the only question the Mombasa Governor got right in his Kiswahili exam was the spelling the word 'Mihadarati' (drugs).

His claim sparked outrage with a section of online users accusing him of making careless remarks.
