Most Wanted Rapist Meets His End

A serial rapist was Thursday morning lynched by members of the public after he was caught in the act.

The suspect, a middle-aged man, was nabbed by residents while reportedly sexually abusing a 68-year old granny at Moi Ndabi Village in Nakuru County. Residents rushed to the rescue of the victim when she raised an alarm following the attack.

Eye-witness accounts revealed that the suspect was found half-naked, and tried to escape before the irate locals pounced on him.

The locals also indicated that the suspect was notorious for raping elderly women but he usually got his way out. It is alleged that prior to the fateful day, the suspect had sexually abused over 10 women and minors in the area.

"We know him, he mainly targets grannies and young girls. He used to waylay his victims in maize plantations either in the morning or late in the evening", a witness Simon Kihara is quoted by the Star.

Confirming the incident, Naivasha police boss John Opondo said that the man was being sought after by police from Narok over the same claims.

“This time round members of the public caught up with him and killed him before police could arrive on the scene,” he said.
