MP Angered by Madonna's Picture of His Constituency

Kibra Member of Parliament Ken Okoth on Tuesday expressed his displeasure after a photo of his constituency was published on social media by pop singer Madonna.

Madonna who is visiting Kenya took photos of a sewerage in Kibra captioning it: "Imagine this is where your water comes from! @shofco is working to change this in Kibera, Africa's largest slum".

Mr Okoth, however, did not take the alleged misrepresentation of facts by Madonna kindly faulting the American singer for the twitter post.

The legislator corrected the pop star stating that sewage water was not drinking water for his constituents.

On Sunday, the American songwriter and seven-time Grammy Award-winner was in Kibra where she spent time with a charitable organisation identified as Shining Hope for Communities.
