Mudavadi Promises to Stick with Raila and His NASA Colleagues

Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has sent out a strong promise to CORD leader Raila Odinga and his colleagues in the Opposition.

Mudavadi stated that he would not bolt out of the National Super Alliance (NASA), regardless of whether he is chosen as a flag-bearer or as a running mate.

The veteran politician stated that he would stick with Odinga’s team as it was the only sure way of removing Jubilee from power.

"We have no choice but to remove Jubilee from power. I am ready to set aside personal presidential ambitions in order to save the country from another five years of Jubilee misrule. ," the ANC leader assured.

He also dismissed accusations that his entry to NASA was a ploy by Odinga to get an edge over the CORD co-principals.

“If we want to move forward, we must bring in other people so we can get 50 percent plus one," Mudavadi stated.

The ANC leader run as Odinga’s running mate in the 2007 Presidential election. He later abandoned the ODM leader in 2012 to launch his own presidential bid.
